New pass required for anglers in Montana

The Montana Legislature just passed a law requiring all anglers to purchase a yearly Aquatic Invasive Species Prevention Pass. The pass must be purchased in addition to the regular fishing license. Money raised will primarily go toward preventing the spread of invasive zebra and quagga aquatic mussels.
