I am, really. Not a purist or, hopefully, and elitist, though. While I prefer dries, I have not problem casting a nymph. I even fished a killer bug and a green weenie last week. 🙂

On a stream last week I lost my floatant but later found some Rain-X spray in the car. (Rain-X is a rain repellent for your windshield.) I sprayed the fly, it floated really well.

Nice. There are those times when false casting and blowing on your fly just don’t do it.
